    Aseer tazza / Loomi ma bourta-gal ~ Home-made Rose Syrup

    Rather than serve plain orange juice, this mixture, with the addition of rose water, gives a drink which is different and very thirst quenching. It will almost definitley be served if you visit a local home and these days, it will be topped with ice cubes and possibly a piece of fresh orange or even a sprig of mint.

    6 oranges
    3 lemons
    Sugar to taste
    1 teaspoon rose water

    Squeez fruits in a juicer and put into the blender with sugar and rose water. Add a little water if necessary, depending on the consistency required. Serve immediately.
