Chai zan-ja-beel ~ Fresh Ginger Tea
Ginger has a soothing effect on the digestive system and indeed some people prefer just to boil the ginger in water and drink this infusion rather than add any other ingredients. this tea is, however, very popular, particularly during the inter months.
3 cups water
Boil water ginger and sugar for five to eight minutes. Strain off the ginger and add the saffron. Pour into a vacuum flask and serve as quickly as possible.
